My boss thinks she's the ---- but she's just mean & i have more education how can i solve this like an adultshe is a friend outside work but she has let this position go to her head,. she doesn't have a degree but she acts like she has a md or something. i am almost tempted to quit. she let's go to head.her bad kids talk to people disrespectfully and treat people mean like her. no i don't want her job i want her to get a wake up call. everyone is afraid to be honest with her about her attitude and her kids.

i don't know what possition you are in at your job,but listen here if you and her are really friends,the reason i say it this way is most good friends don't bad mouth their friends even online.however what i would suggest that you do being her friend,is go to her alone,and just tell her in a nice way that her attitude is really bad on the job,and that it is effecting everyone that works for her.you may also add that her place on the job has really gone to her head,and you would appreciate it if she could show others the same respect that she demands of them.look she is the manager i'm asumming right?ok by all of yous resenting her so much yous may be making her job a lot harder than it should be,and maybe it would be a good idea if you checked your on attitude as well....
She was apparently made a boss for some reason, someone must have thought her capable. Has she done something wrongly to jeopardize ur job, if so discuss it with her in a direct manner, if she has not, then give her some respect as ur superior. If ur unable to deal with the entire situation, transfer to another dept. or look for another job. Friends off the job, frequently don`t make good relationships on the job.
