Question:
This morning I heard a report about a language teacher in Cambridge (Massachusetts) who teaches 7 (in words: seven) languages simultaneously. The languages he teaches include Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish ... His method is obviously based on repeating phrases in different languages to form something like `speaking patterns'. The report was on the BBC world service in the series "The learning world".
Does anybody have a name or an address of this teacher or any kind of articles or references concerning his method?
Answer:
His name is Lee something or other and his school is based in Zero Church Street, Cambridge MA 02138.
No, I think the teacher Stefan is referring to is some one who teaches at places like the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. I've heard about him several times over the years, and there was a report about him on National Public Radio (in the USA) a year or so ago; I suspect that might be how the BBC heard about him. Unfortunately I don't remember his name, or any of the other information that Stefan is asking for.
It's conceivable that Haj collaborated with this teacher in the development of this method, but I've never heard that before. I'm quite sure that Haj is not the teacher who actively practises this method in Cambridge.
