I am from Malaysia. Currently working on my thesis. I need help in getting information regarding qualitative research in religious adult education. Areas of research include adult education -reasons participation and adult learning in teh religious adult education. if anyone can provide the information? Whether it is book, journal , articles or anything.

My minister has her doctorate in faith development stages of adulthood. Although she and I have never discussed whether it is a qualitative or quanitative research that she did, I am sure it is qualitative. Her background in adult Christian ed. is very interesting. Three publishers that have adult ed book are Jossey- Bass, Kreiger Publishing, and Sage. All three have religious education sub- areas. Some of the materials are very good. You will also find an article in the upcoming Adult Education Quarterly (Spring/Summer 1997). Jean Saul wrote a review of religious education books for adult education.
