Question:
I'm a recent Me.D. graduate in Adult Education and am an InstructionalDesigner (ID) by profession. I'd like to pursue a PhD and combine thefields of education and ID, they do make the perfect match. But I am ata loss of where to find a distance ed program that can offer one or theother. I know friends who have gone to san diego state and received themasters in ID but know of no PhD programs. can anyone help me out?
Answer:
I am enrolled in the Nova-Southeastern School of Computer Science's Doctorate in Computing Technology Education (DCTE to shorten things) and am also a course developer/technical writerat a Fortune 500 company. My interest is in developing computer based training for adult learners, or if I want to be really long-winded, andragony, which really sounds like a disease.Never the less, anyone who wants to chat about developingcomputer based training for adult learners or who wants more information on Nova's program is welcome to send me a note.
